First Round- Sad to see it go...

As first round action dwindles down this weekend let me say that I am sad to see it go. So far, the NBA playoffs have been incredible. It's to the point where (if your on the East Coast) you can't go to bed until it's over. That's a status the NBA hasn't had for me in awhile. We've had several classic OT games, several classic physical confrontations, several classic fightin' words quotes and several classic phenomenal performances.

Nash was retarded last night, Kobe hit everything he shot, and is Shaq Diesel on a downward spiral or did he just put up a 30pt, 20 reb. performance last night? I mean for Pete's sake Anthony Johnson dropped 40 on the Nets! Tonight we get another dose of Lebron vs. Gilbert battle and a Game 6 for Spurs/Kings. Which if the Spurs lose this one, I can't see them winning the title. I mean the killer instinct has to be there. Championship teams put series away, they don't let them linger. Take note of the Pistons demolishing of the Bucks two nights ago.

I'll raise a beer tonight to the NBA playoffs and I will hope for a equally exciting 2nd round.

Totally agree. The quality goes up when the physicality is up.

Never. The Playoffs have a disclaimer that says "soft teams need not apply".

Ok, I figured I would take this time out to put my brewing vomet on this page.
Lakers blew it. It is that simple.
If they were able to close out the series in game 6, I would have seriously believed that they can rep the west in the Finals. But NOOOO. They go ahead and give home-court back to the Suns. DANG!
Nash is filthy. He basically put his team on his back and carried them. Barbosa's stellar performance as a fill in helped as well. I still have a question though...what is Tim Thomas doing behind the arc?
STOPPPP!
your no Robert Horry...fool!
Stay in the paint dope.
Ok, here is the prediction...
Lakers win by the hair on Phil Jacksons Chinny-Chin-Chin...
I don't know if this is b/c I am a Laker fan or b/c he never lost in the first round. EVER!!!
Damn emotions!
