What's Going On....The Sequel

Again, few things. Still working on a name for posts like this. Simmons already has the best one (cowbell) and even though he ain't using it anymore I can't take it.
I'm too much of a O.G. Smell me? Good.

- Man, Lebron was great. So was Gilbert. Is the fake drive to the right, step back fadeaway jay (from Lebron) the sweetest move in the league right now or is it me? The Wiz had no business forcing overtime but thank god they did. Anytime I can get more quality basketball I'm game. Haywood has to deny that entry pass. Daily Dime says he was a bit hesitant of the officials giving him a tech if he crossed or stepped on the line. And this is how poor officiating effects games. Even if nothing is called the teams, the players have situations in their heads that dictate how they play. It's disgusting. The officiating has gotten worse and worse. I don't know who or how to solve it but it's got to be addressed in the off-season.

- Diaw really letting loose. Has no problem saying how he feels about the Mamba.
Another case of bad officiating is happening within that series too. Kobe gets way too much respect. If the Lakers don't win tonight, I'm afraid they will lose in Phoenix on Saturday. And then the Hallway series will not happen, and that will make me angry. Because I would love, LOVE to see the Lakers lose to their red-headed stepchild, The Los Angeles Clippers. It would be great. And the Clips have what it takes to beat them.

- If you hate Thunderstix and cowbell noises stay away from the Spurs-Kings game tonight. Arco Arena will be rocking!!!

- Brother Derik is not winning this Saturday's Kentucky Derby. Tomorrow I will post my picks including combos.

- Billy Wagner couldn't locate the fastball last night and cost Pedro the 6-0 start. All is forgiven as Delgado (DEL-GOT IT) goes yard. There are times that I feel like you just can't pitch to this guy. Not on a Prince Albert level but a few notches below. I would say the most feared left handed hitters right now (off the top of my head) is : Ortiz (BOS), Delgado (NYM), Giambi (NYY), Bonds (SF) and Hafner (CLE).

- RIP Earl Woods. From what I read on you the past day or too and from how you've carried yourself and Tiger's legacy the past 10 years, you will be missed.
