Jack N' Coke

Considering the title for a permanent name for posts like these. It's a homage to my favorite cocktail. Still sifting thru a pile of names. Suggestions always welcome.

METS 5 up on Phils after last night's win. Another come from behind, another great game. Once Soler settled in he was good. Has 4 pitches and can throw all for strikes at anytime. This guy has some serious potential. I like it. Trading Julio for El Duque was an excellent trade for the Mets. Duque can start, have the opportunity to go every five days and is a proven post-season performer. Julio was an extra arm in the pen who didn't really have the make-up of a big-time reliever. Now that Kris Benson trade looks a lot better.

Diaw was incredible. So was Nash, I think the Mavs are shocked they lost that game last night.

I'm posting a Mock Draft tomorrow....not excited about these year's draft but nonetheless a El Padrino Mock Draft is necessary.

Also later today my favorite BBQ recipes....I figure with Memorial Day Weekend upon us why not? I'm pretty deadly with my tongs.

Sorry so short but I'm getting flogged at work today. Everyone is coming out of the woodwork.
Tomorrow better be dead.....

Very excited about the BBQ recipes!

The Phils are a streaky team ... and unfortunately, right now, they are of the brown kind you find in your underwear.

El Duque, eh?

I admire the Mets wanting to trade to improve for a division run.

But at the same time, you have to take into consideration that he is older than his posted age, and there is a good chance he does not have it anymore.

It could really go either way with him right now. It's risky.

It is but at least the front office shows interest in the situation on the field. Guy still throws low 90's with a bugs bunny curve and a slurve type pitch. Worth it to me.
