The More You Know.....

Remember those commercials that have a celebrity or "quasi" celebrity say a bunch a nonsense and then some cheesy jingle rings and a voice says "the more you knooowwww" while simultaneously a shooting star with a rainbow streaks across the screen? That saying is in the running for the naming rites of my random thoughts posts. Mango Salsa, Glass Case of Emotion, Sausage & Peppers, When your Bank Says No Champion Says Yes, TPS Report (props to Hater for this one) and Jack & Coke are all finalists.

By the way I posted that Mock Draft. It's under previous posts named :
This Is My Draft.

I hope all enjoyed the BBQ recipe's. I know a little about a lot. Maybe next week I'll post some random facts like those Snapple caps do.

Mets head to Miami for a three game set against the Marlins. Who hopefully shot their load by sweeping the Cubs. Looks like Soler and Duque round out the rotation. I can't really complain. Let's see what Duque brings to the table. Still have Bannister, Maine and the possibility of Pelfrey being available.

Now that Bernadini withdrew from Belmont, there is no reason to even watch the race. I'm not a huge horse racing fan but I've gone to Belmont a few times and it is a fun day but with Barbaro going down and the disappointment of Bob N John, Lawyer Ron, Brother Derek this season has really sucked ass.

Mavs win tonight. It's the equivalent of depositing money in the bank. I don't know about that -7.5 points they are laying though. Grow some balls and take the money line if you need some rent money.

David Letterman's show is still the best. Just a funny guy, great stuff.

Peroni, Stella Artois and El Presidente are in my beer rotation as of right now. But in order to consume a massive amount of beer this weekend I might have to switch to Corona.

Silly wife quote of the week was after the Mavs defeated the Spurs. During the post game interview, on the court with Dirk. As Dirk answers the reporter's question wife says:
"Why does he look like that? His hair is all over and what an ugly beard.
What is he?" "He's German" I say. "German? He looks like a caveman." "Yuck"

By the way this will be a Friday staple in these types of posts.
Silly Wife quotes.
Only when referring to Sports unless she speaks to me during a good movie that I enjoy.

Have a nice holiday!

5 Memorial Day BBQ Recipe's

Memorial Day BBQ Recipe's straight from El Padrino's balcony.
All original, all good.

First up, Grilled Chicken.

I'm talking two kinds of Grilled Chicken recipe's. The first is good old-fashioned BBQ Grilled Chicken.

Ingredients (Serves about 12 cutlets):
Thin Sliced Chicken Cutlets, Salt, Fresh Ground Pepper, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, BBQ sauce of your choice (I have a recipe to make your own but I actually prefer other bottled varieties).

Now this is quite simple, some people just grill chicken cutlets then slab BBQ on them as they come off the grill. That's all fine and dandy but for better tasting cutlets try this.

In a ziploc bag combine all the spices above (i'm not good with measuring so say about a handful and a half, except for the onion powder and garlic powder, just a modest handful of those two) and throw all the cleaned trimmed cutlets in the bag. Shake them around til all cutlets are dry coated. Then pour about half the bottle of your favorite BBQ sauce in the bag. Shake bag like a leaf on a chilly October day until all cutlets are covered.

Since they are already wet (from BBQ sauce) you must BBQ on a low to med flame and watch them. I'd say about 7-10 minutes on each side. When done they should be a light to med color orange. If you are a glutton and love BBQ sauce it's ok to wet them again when almost done. I usually don't unless requested. Enjoy.

Grilled Lemon Chicken
Ingredients : (Same Serving) Thin Chicken Cutlets, Salt, Fresh Ground Pepper, two pinches of Thyme, Garlic Powder, 4 whole lemons, juice of 2 whole lemons, parsley flakes.

Season cutlets individually with a the salt, pepper, thyme and garlic powder. Lightly coat each cutlet. Then place the chicken in a bowl and pour the lemon juice over it. Let sit in fridge for like 15 minutes (while grill heats up). Now again, on a low flame (because no one likes burnt food) place the chicken on the grill. Now, slice the 4 lemons and place two slices on each piece of chicken while on the grill. When you flip them place another two slices of lemon (the juice from the slices of lemon slowly drip down into the chicken) on each cutlet. Besides the fact that it looks phenomenal it tastes even better. Towards the end, sprinkle the parsley on each lemon and serve hot right off the grill.

Wet/Dry Baby Back Ribs
Now I say Wet/Dry because you can eat them either way. They'll be good dry or you can use your favorite BBQ sauce at the end of cooking and brush them wet.
Ingredients: 2 racks Baby Back Ribs, Salt, Fresh Ground Pepper, Cumin, Chili Powder, Paprika, Brown Sugar, Cayenne.

Now in a bowl mixed all the ingredients mentioned and rub into meat. Evenly coat, and place both racks in two ply's of aluminum foil. Wrap them tight and place on hot grill. Med flame for two hours. Flip them over every half hour. If you smell em burning lower flame. If you want to wet them with sauce, remove from foil 10 minutes before serving and brush them down.

Soy Honey Skirt Steak
Ingredients: Skirt steak (Beef Diaphragm), Pepper, Garlic Powder, Honey, Soy Sauce.

Lightly season steak on each side with garlic powder and pepper. Then in a ziploc (I love ziploc's) throw steak in and add about 5ounces of Soy Sauce. Squish around and then add about 4 ounces of honey. But make sure the honey touches the meat, let this rest and place on grill (whole, do not cut yet). Med flame is fine. Here's the key, while grilling squeeze more honey on the meat. I measure it like this, slowly squeeze back and forth once on each side. You want to taste the honey on this. Soy Sauce can be overwhelming so the honey off-sets it and it turns into a salty sweet flavor. Do the honey bit two or three times. Taste a piece for flavor. Serve hot and cut into smaller size steaks. Enjoy.

Beer Soaked Rib-eye
Ingredients: Rib Eye cut steak, Three 12oz beers, 2 oz. Lime juice, Celery Salt, Fresh Ground Pepper, Garlic Powder.
Lightly season steak with celery salt, pepper, garlic powder. Place steaks in bowl. Pour in two
beers and drink the other. Refrigerate, 20 minutes. Take out and while grill heats up pour/mix in lime juice. Grill on med flame to your liking. The more well done the less taste of the beer.
Enjoy.

These recipes are good because 1. They are easy to do. I ain't no Bobby Flay and don't want to be. Just good BBQ food from a good guy.
2. You can make mass quantities for large outdoor cookouts.

All recipes must be performed while drinking beer.
Enjoy your holiday!

Jack N' Coke

Considering the title for a permanent name for posts like these. It's a homage to my favorite cocktail. Still sifting thru a pile of names. Suggestions always welcome.

METS 5 up on Phils after last night's win. Another come from behind, another great game. Once Soler settled in he was good. Has 4 pitches and can throw all for strikes at anytime. This guy has some serious potential. I like it. Trading Julio for El Duque was an excellent trade for the Mets. Duque can start, have the opportunity to go every five days and is a proven post-season performer. Julio was an extra arm in the pen who didn't really have the make-up of a big-time reliever. Now that Kris Benson trade looks a lot better.

Diaw was incredible. So was Nash, I think the Mavs are shocked they lost that game last night.

I'm posting a Mock Draft tomorrow....not excited about these year's draft but nonetheless a El Padrino Mock Draft is necessary.

Also later today my favorite BBQ recipes....I figure with Memorial Day Weekend upon us why not? I'm pretty deadly with my tongs.

Sorry so short but I'm getting flogged at work today. Everyone is coming out of the woodwork.
Tomorrow better be dead.....

This Is My Draft...

This is my Draft. There are many like this but this one is mine.

MOCK!!!!!!!!!

Raptors: Lemarcus Aldridge, PF Texas (6"10)
He's got a great low post presence and is a strong rebounder. The Bulls will love this pick because that means they can draft the "Italian Dirk".

Bulls: Andrea Bargnani, PF Italy (7"0)
Think a taller Ginobili. Guy's seven feet tall hence the Dirk reference above. Seems like the scouts love this guy (as they do with most Int'l players). I haven't seem any video yet. Still waiting for my tapes from league scouts.

Bobcats: Tyrus Thomas, PF LSU (6"9)
Athletic scorer. Also can defend. Not sure he's going to be great so this may be a "looking back on last year's draft maybe we should have taken Chris Paul" pick.

Trailblazers: Adam Morrison, SF Gonzaga (6"8)
Works out perfectly for Adam. Gets to stay where he's loved and is aligned to play with a fantastic point guard (Telfair) for years to come. He can shoot from anywhere and uses picks and screens better than some pro players. Hopefully he's eaten a bit since March and I pray that he shaved that ridiculous wispy mustache.

Hawks: Brandon Roy, SG Washington (6"5)
If they don't trade this pick for PG or trade down to get a PG (Williams) then Roy is their guy at #5. He can play right away and compliments Joe Johnson. I would trade this pick in a package for either Iverson, Garnett or trade it down and take Williams or even a Darius Washington.

Wolves: Rudy Gay, SF UConn (6"9)
Need a scorer quickly and Gay can and will put up some numbers. Fluid shooter, good off the dribble and as Chad Ford would say "long". Question about his character but if I know Garnett's style of leading, he'll make sure there's none of that in the Twin City.

Celtics: Patrick O'Bryant, C Bradley (7"0)
Another trade possibility here because the board poses a problem for Boston. Either take O'Bryant a little bit higher than people think or draft another SF/SG type player. They already have Tony Allen and Paul Pierce. Anyway O'Bryant could develop into a big time low post player and has a good work ethic.

Rockets: Marcus Williams, PG Uconn (6"3)
Rockets need a floor leader and Marcus is just that. Knows how to feed a hot hand (McGrady) and knows how to throw into the post (Ming). He's got a real good feel for the game.

Warriors: Shelden Williams, PF Duke (6"9)
Dirty-work defender, solid rebounder and can score if needed. Fits in this team nicely. Warriors will also be looking for a Center in the later rounds.

Sonics: Cedric Simmons, PF NC State (6"9)
If the Sonics don't trade down to grab a center then JJ Redick could wind up here. Imagine trying to guard the perimeter against Allen, Lewis, Redick, & Ridinour. But I think in the end power prevails in the war room and they take this kid out of NC State. A little early but a potentially explosive low post scorer.

Magic: J.J Redick, SG Duke (6"4)
Orlando needs a shooter. A valid three point threat and Redick is just that. Also used screens well and is a very hard worker.

Hornets: Hilton Armstrong, F/C Uconn (6"10)
A little high to take this late bloomer but they have another pick at 15. Hopefully the guard they like will be there. They will be afraid of Philly or Utah taking Armstrong.
Good shot-blocker, solid rebounder and developing a very good pivot low post game.

Sixers: Randy Foye, SG Nova (6"4)
Philly is shocked Foye is still here and sprints to the podium. Assuming Iverson stays in Philly this is a great pick. Inside out guard who loves to penetrate and can create his own shot. Mentally tough and has played his college ball in Philly. Can also run the point at let Iverson play off the ball.

Jazz: Shannon Brown, SG Mich. State (6"3)
Fearless penetration's who can become a scoring machine. Come from a great program and has played in numerous big games. Also a good one-on-one defender.

Hornets: Quincy Doby, SG Rutgers (6"3)
A true scorer who can run with Paul. Excellent range and can score off-the dribble. Byron Scott will love this kid.

Bulls: Ronnie Brewer, SG Arkansas (6"7)
They have enough scorers so Bulls go for the guard who does "everything else but score". Here is a Bruce Bowen type player who plays hard defense, picks his spots on the floor and hustles.

Pacers: Josh Boone, F/C Uconn (6"10)
Has the explosion of Anthony Johnson ease the Pacers PG problem? They'll be plenty on the board to choose from (PG's) but they may just shock the league with this pick. Boone can help O'Neal down low and be third or fourth scoring option. He hustles and will be a crowd favorite.

Wizards: Shawne Williams, SF Memphis (6"9)
Wiz need inside help and Williams right now can be that guy. Tremendous athlete who can eventually be a go to guy.

Kings: Tiago Splitter, F/C Brazil (7"0)
Patience is a virtue. With Kevin Martin's emergence and the Artest trade the Kings can afford to wait for this very raw but very dangerous looking prospect. They waited a few years for Peja so they know how to treat this situation.

Knicks: Kyle Lowry, PG Nova (6"0)
True point gaurd unlike Nate Robinson. What the Knicks really need. If the roster stays the same Marbury can play off the ball and Lowry can run the point.

Suns: Maurice Ager, SG Mich St. (6"5)
Deadly off-the dribble moves, decent shooter. Can run with Nash.

Nets: Rodney Carney, SF Memphis (6"7)
Another wingman for Kidd. Also good on the defensive end.

Nets: Mouhamed Saer Sene, C Senegal (7"0)
Few years away from NBA but with Kristic developing well maybe Thorn knows how to develop players overseas. Nets are a now team so this pick is a future building block.

Grizzlies: Marcus Vinicius, SF Brazil (6"9)
This is a reach but a slashing SG is what the Girzz need and they won't be none on the board. So the guy can slash and shoot but is a bit unpolished and plays SF. It's either this guy or this next guy.

Cavs: Guilermo Diaz, SG Miami (6"3)
Outside shooting, if someone other than Lebron's scored against Detroit would be watching Heat-Cavs. Let's hope Diaz perfects that jumpshot scouts love.

Lakers: Mardy Collins, PG Temple (6"6)
Hybrid guard with good size and speed. Very good defender. Could become a defensive stopper if he works hard.

Suns: Jordan Farmar, PG UCLA (6"2)
Nash's back-up. Barbosa is better off the point. Knows how to feed hot hand and low post.
Solid PG.

Mavs: Paul Misllap, PF LaTech (6"8)
Led nation in rebounding three years in a row. This will take some pressue of Dirk to rebound.
And gived A.J another big.

Knicks: Aaron Gray, C Pitt (7"0)
True seven-footer. Rebounder, low post threat and shot blocker. You know a center. Perfect fit fot Knickerbockers.

Blazers: Alexander Johnson, PF Florida (6"10)
Low post scorer. Rebounder, won't clog the lane and a good passer for a big guy.

Mock draft over. Of course things can change if any trades occur.

The Bag-Tap

Friend just shot me over a funny vid....check it out. This is what happens when your 4"10.

Oodles of Noodles

Still trying to find a name of posts like these. Simmons has the best with cowbell and even though he's not using it anymore I'm no copycat. So for now, it's Oodles of Noodles. The chicken ones of course.

HEAT roll last night. All the role players Riley got in the off-season chipped in big last night. Shaq and Wade played an effective 29 and 27 minutes respectfully. No strain, no exhaustion, no worries. Haslem logged the most minutes and had 0 points. How did that happen? Look no further than White Chocolate, Toine', Da Glove and Zo. Each chipped in just enough to go along with Diesel's 14 points, 8 boards (5 offensive) and Wade's 25 points. It was team basketball just like the Pistons blueprint. It's also the way the Mavs play. Deep 9 man rotation.

METS WIN in 16. No team wanted to lose that game. Terrific performance from Ryan Madson who pitched 7 scoreless innings in relief. Beltran takes his high fastball in the 16th and just yanks it 450ft into the night for the win. It was about time. I didn't really think Madson was that overpowering, I figured someone would have ended it a long time ago but in retrospect he located well and executed all three of his pitches. As usual the Phillies own Trachsel who I'm already a little sick of. Maybe it's just he takes to damn long. Mets pen is one of the best in the league and it showed last night with scoreless relief from Sanchez, Wagner, Bradofrd, Feliciano, Julio and Oliver. Heilman hicupped in his relief stint but normally gets out without giving up much. He gets in trouble when he walks people, just like every reliever. The Phillies pen is just a train wreck. Ryan Franklin? Really? Arthur Rhodes has a lifetime era well over 4. Geary is a minor league pitcher and Fultz had been pretty bad lately. Gordon has been good and Cormier can still get lefties out so he gets a pass. But in a big spot against a big lefty...I bet Philly fans hold their breath. Lieber must go deep in tonight game, if Mets get to him early they'll be going for the sweep tomorrow.

CNN has a http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/05/23/mcdonalds.crash.ap/index.html
story of a man running people over in Georgia. Three toddlers and two adults. My question is sick or not, why can't we just execute this person immediately? I propose the blatant law. If you kill someone intentionally, blatanly then you die the next day. No courts, no crazy plea's, no jailtime. Just straight to the room with a needle. Now this in this paticular story the victims did not die but you get my point.

#1 Pick of this year's NBA draft goes to the Raptors. #2 goes to the Bulls which would have been the Knicks pick if not for the 700th stupid trade of Isiah Thomas's career last year. Curry for their number one. The thinking at the time was Curry is better than any other prospect.
Man, that Isiah, a regular Aristotle'.

Drudge Report also has an interesting story.
Ever wonder what happened to Billy Koch?
http://www.ktvu.com/news/9264350/detail.html
I wonder what he did to deserve this! Holy mackerel!

Finals

So here we are, The Final Four. Rematch of last year's Eastern Conference Finals and a different Suns team taking on a different Texas team in the West. Here are my thoughts and predictions on both series.

EAST : Shaq. Obviously he is the key. Last year the Pistons needed seven games to dispose of the Heat. This year will be no different. Except the outcome. Heat in 7. With the added rest for both Wade and Shaq I feel like they are more than ready. I think Riley has prepared them for the Pistons since their NJ series ended. Remember two things from last year. One, Wade was hurt, this year is much better off than last. Two, Riley. He probably walked into practice wearing all of his championship rings. This is the reason he pulled the rug out from Van Gundy this year. This is why. He wants another shot at the gold. And when he's determined to do something, he does. Just ask his hair.

WEST : I don't think this is going to be close. I say Mavs in 5. The Suns rely way to much on perimeter shooting. They have no low post threat. Who's going to guard Nowitzki? Raja Bell?
Boris Diaw? Don't make me laugh. Terry is going to run circles around Nash. And so is the back-up Harris. Josh Howard/Marques Daniels negates the Bell, Barbosa, Jones combo. Tim Thomas and Shawn Marion can cause problems but not enough to worry the Mavs.

Mets-Phils tonight!!

Just Not Ready

As people may see from my profile, I live in N.Y. Outside of 3 years that I spent in Florida, I've lived here my whole life. So you could say, I am a New Yorker. With that said there's something that I need to get off my chest. Since age 19 I worked in the Finance Industry. You know, Wall Street. My first job was with a firm called Prudential Securities, located approximately 4 city blocks from the World Trade Center. As many of you know on September 11th, 2001 lower Manhattan and the entire world as we knew it, would never be the same.

I don't think I have to go in to details as to what exactly happened. So I'll take you through a tour of that day through my eyes. I'm going to jump right to when the first plane struck the North Tower. The building silently shook, we thought nothing of it. Then my supervisor who usually gets to work at about 7:30am comes running in with tears running down his face. He starts repeating over and over, I saw it! I saw the damn plane run right into the trade center!
We all huddle around the radio's that we have on our desks, and we listen. We hear that a passenger airplane identified as American Airlines Fight 11 has crashed into the North Tower of the World Trade Center. We all wonder how? How could this happen? Something smelled funny but we just speculate the pilot was sick or had a heart attack or the plane severely malfunctioned. Then the clock ticked 9:02am. United Flight 175 cut straight into the South Tower with tremendous force. The building shook again, and the newscast on 1010 WINS just shouted "the plane hit it again" "another jet liner just crashed into the South Tower" . And then we all knew this was no accident.

That's when the phone's started ringing. My Aunt, who I lived with at the time, called me from home to tell me what happened. My girlfriend wanted to know why haven't I left yet? I didn't know at the time how serious this was. Then on the news we hear about two other planes, two other planes that were missing. One, they say was headed to the capitol. We're at war I said. We're being attacked, with our own planes as guided missile's. Next thing you know the building alarm sounds and then the panic started. Get out! Get out! I got my things together and bolted for the staircase. Me and a friend started the slow trek down the 12 flights of stairs.

Once we got outside it was pandemonium. People running, people collapsing, people crying. It was terrible. The smell in the air was pungent. I headed towards Brooklyn, took my friend with me. He wanted to go to Midtown, I told him he was nuts. Come home with me and I'll drive you to Long Island if I have to. He was clearly shaken up, I was too but I'm a calm person. I don't show my cards, if you knew me you would understand. We took about three steps and then we heard a sickening rumble. The South Tower collapses. A giant smoke cloud engulfs lower Manahattan. People run from it, it looks like a tidal wave of smoke. I just grab everyone close and duck down, let it pass I scream. Once the main cloud blows east we started to walk to the Bridge. Thousands and thousands of people all walking on the West Side Highway towards one of the most famous bridges in the world. It was unreal, ferries were parked along the harbor with body bags. Dead pigoens along the road. We were covered in the dust and soot that rained on us 10 minutes ago. We were pouring bottled water all over us to get the film of ashes off us. It smelled like burnt hair.

We listened to reports coming in on radio's people were carrying. A plane slammed into the Pentagon, another is head for the White House. This is just unbelievable. As we all cross the bridge, the sky is so blue. It was so nice today. Why? My cell phone still has no signal. As we reach the Brooklyn side of the bridge we hear the other tower just collapsed. People crying outloud. As we look back we see the plumes of smoke. I reach my uncles building. People just staring at me, I guess it's because I'm covered in that white smoky film. I see my uncle, give him a hug and then we proceed to try and find a ride home. I make some calls from his office, my mom in Florida is watching all this on TV so she had no clue if I worked there or if I'm even alive. Talking to her was hard, she was pretty upset.

When I get home I take all the clothes I had on and throw them right in the garbage pail. I shower immediately and just lay in bed for about an hour. Then I put the TV on, just to see what everyone else saw that day. It was catastrophic. The damage, the smoke, the Pentagon, the field in PA. I started crying uncontrollably, my family (all of which were home except for my uncle) just hugged me until I stopped. It was so raw, the footage of the plane being played over and over. The people choosing to jump rather than die in the inferno. I can't believe this happened. No one could.

The reason I need to type all this out was simple. See the title, Just Not Ready? I'm not. I was at the movies this past weekend. I checked out Da Vinci Code. It was good. But before that there was the trailer of the WTC movie starring Nicholas Cage. And seeing that trailer opened up all these past feelings and all these images in my head. Forget the fact that I was not directly effected by the tragedy as far as losing a loved one. I just was in lower Manahattan. I wasn't the people on TV later that night with posters of loved ones, crying into the camera. Have you seen this one or that one. Heart breaking. Could you imagine? If I'm not ready how could they be? This trailer was easy on the footage but showed the tears of loved ones, showed the rubble, the shadow of the plane. The boom. The panic. I'm just not ready to see that. It's too soon. They didn't make a movie about Pearl Harbor til the 60th anniversary. Why, after only 5 years do we need this?

Oodles of Noodles

"Lima Time" : I hate Jose Lima. He's a piece of trash. And now he's ruining the Mets every fifth day. Bannister left his latest re-hab start 5 pitches into it. This is terrible news. This means it will be "Lima Time" at least 2 more times. Unless something drastic happens. Like a trade or a promotion for Pelfrey. Which at this point I'll take because anything is better then "Lima Time".

Got Wood : Rejoice Cub fans, 1/2 of your power pitching is back. He gave up three dingers but at least he's here and in the rotation again. It's been awhile since you've seen Wood throw that smokeball.

Ravech : I like Baseball Tonight. I like most of the analysts and most of the personalities. But if Karl Ravech says the Gamb-ino (referring to Jason Giambi) name one more time. I am going to murder someone.

Cavs : Extremely impressed by the Cavs poise late in these games. Usually young teams crumble under those circumstances, especially on the road. Lebron vs Wade in the conference finals is really getting me excited. My NBA playoff boner is huge right now.

Suns/Clippers : I really don't have a preference on who wins this because they'll get squashed by most likely the Mavs anyway. But I will watch it because it's a good series and Brand has become a must watch player.

NL East : I'm a realist. I know it's going to be a dogfight. But I must say I feel good. I feel like the Mets will take it this year. Braves, I don't think have the pitching and the young players I think will eventually crack (they have to, right?). Phils looked good during their streak but I have to say they don't scare me at all. Mets line-up is deeper and Wagner is better than Gordon. Pedro over Meyers and Glavine over Lieber. No argument from anyone except crazed Phillies fan on that analysis. It would help of course if Pat Burrell broke a bone or something. God he kills us. Hey Pat, what did we do to you?

Kazmir : God help me but Jim Duquette should have body lice for the rest of his life for the Zambrano / Kazmir trade. It's haunting. I can't even type anymore, I just want to puke.

Padrino out.

Play-by-Play

This is going to be fantastic. I might call in sick for this.

http://blogs.nydailynews.com/mets/

10 Things I Loved About Yesterday.....

10 Things I Loved About Yesterday......

1. Russ Springer, faced Bonds three times since 2001.
The first time, Bonds went yard. Second time, he hits him with a fastball. Third time they face, after throwing a pitch behind him and getting warned by Ump Joe West, hits him with a 93 mph fastball. This was after three straight inside pitches that would have hit him if he didn't move. Also comes on the heels of Bonds longest drought for a milestone HR. What ghost?

2. Elton Brand. Right now. Just as good as any top-ten NBA player. You can even argue that he's better than KG.

3. D-Wade's defense. Shaq getting to the Conference Finals for like the 46th time. Active leader.

4. Collision at home plate between Jorge Posada and Mark Texeira. It wasn't as gruesome as the Prince Fielder one a week ago but damn this one was good. Posada held on to the ball, got up and shook his head from side to side. Just like in the cartoons. Then he hits a game-winning HR an hour or so later to win the game for the Yanks who were trailing 9-0 in the 2nd inning. Note to Texeira: The man pisses on his own hands, you ain't running over.

5. Mets win, Phils lose. It's that simple.

6. During the Mets rain delay, SNY shows Met classic games. Last night's choice was Sept. 17, 1986. Cubs at Shea, if the Mets win they clinch the NL EAST. Shea was rocking and the Mets had Gooden on the mound. Cubs had Eckersley, a fine pitcher in his own right. It was fun to watch and reminisce. Gooden , Strawberry, Carter, Dykstra, Backman, Mookie.....it was great.
I'll root for rain delay's from now on. The thing that stood out the most was the writing on the pitchers backdrop at Shea. Along the wall it says "No Pepper Allowed". Pepper was cool.

7. Mini-Camp.

8. Highlights on Sportscenter of Ronaldinho.

9. Richard Hatch getting 51 months in jail. Hey Richard, I dare you to walk around naked now.

10. L&B's signature square pizza pie.

Padrino out.

Isiah The King

Sorry for the late post. I'm still a bit taken back that Dolan really is serious about buying out Larry Brown. Just in case anyone was wondering I am a Knick fan. (pause)

Ok, the voices I hear in my head just stopped laughing. It's not that I don't think he can't afford it. Gosh I live in NY, I know the Dolan's own everyone's living room with the Cablevision monopoly. It just strikes me as odd as the replacement for Brown would be none other than Thomas. Isiah Thomas, who has been quietly whining to Dolan about how he can coach this team, this roster. He wants another shot at the bench, he wants to win. That's the only thing he knows how to do, yada, yada, yada. Never mind that he tanked the Raptors, never mind that he under-achieved in Indiana, never mind that he tanked the CBA. Either Thomas can sell eggs to a chicken or Dolan is incredibly stupid. Or both.

I would have to agree that Larry Brown is not the right coach for this team. That to me is fairly obvious. Marbury is not a true point guard. Never was, never will be. But with the right coach and system I still believe that he can lead a team to success. If Mike D'Antoni coached the Knicks. They would have won 10+ games more. I strongly believe that. They have quick guards who can shoot. They have an above average inside presence with Curry, Frye, James, Woods and Lee. And the bench is deep. A little too deep. I would have to suggest a trade or two to even up the roster position wise. Too many guards that do the same thing.

Francis has to go, I hate his game. A true point guard would be nice, that way Marbury can focus on getting to the paint rather than setting up his teammates. Nate is a bit of a project but an exciting one. One of the Rose's have to go. David Lee and Channing Frye are a must stay. I liked Qyntel Woods, I thought he played well at time. Jerome James is a joke. Jackie Butler is just a sloppy big men armed with 6 fouls. Curry has talent but no clue on how to reach it. Q can stay around the league for years with his three point shooting. Mo Taylor is like a Juwan Howard but heavier and he doesn't steal sunglasses. And Jamal Crawford is a true gunner and when hot can carry a team.

Isiah wants this job so bad, and I think he's going to get it. I'm scared. I don't know what he's going to do. The Pacers made the playoffs all three seasons he was there. But they were expected to do much more. Was that considered a failure? Larry Bird thought so. Is he afraid that he'll never get a job anywhere else? Is that why he's pushing for this job so hard? to prove he belongs. I mean he's got nothing to lose. If he fails, it's expected. If he succeeds he'll be coroneted. I'll hope for the latter. Because hope is all I got.

Sports Greatest Feats

With Bonds on the brink of tying the Babe on the all-time HR list, I decided to take a look at sports greatest individual feats to see which one is the most prolific. Now, since it's individual feats this list will exclude the 1980 USA Hockey Team, the 72-10 1995-96 Chicago Bulls, the eight consecutive NBA titles (Celtics 59-66), the 72' Dolphins, 26 World Championships (NY Yankees), and the 88 consecutive wins for John Wooden's Bruins. That's a separate post.

The list I put together is mostly mainstream sports. No bass fishing, no bowling, no arena football, no pool, no race car driving and no volleyball. I'm not saying those are not sports, I'm just not into making a list of sports greatest feats on 2nd tier sports. I'm talking NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL, Cycling, Horse Racing, and one long jump. Yeah you read correctly. The long jump. Let me see you jump 29 feet and 4.5 inches. That's four Shaq's and a garden gnome. You can't do that. Mike Powell did it. World Record, 1991. That's a great sport feat. Here are more.

Bonds- Bonds 73 Home Runs, eclipsing the 70 McGwire pumped out in 1998. Of course this record seems tainted due to the steroid cloud over Bond's head.

755- That's the number all Home Run Hitters look up to. Hank Aaron hit the baseball out of the park 755 times over his 23 years in the bigs. His highest total was 1962 when he had 45 dingers. From 1935-1974 Babe Ruth held the record with 714 Home Runs. A record that Barry Bonds will eclipse any day now.

56- As in 56 consecutive games with a hit. Yeah that's right, a 56-game hitting streak. The summer was 1941, and Giuseppe Paolo DiMaggio made history en route to a .357 batting average. He won the MVP that year, it would be the second one that was later three. Yanks won the show that year by beating the Brooklyn Dodgers four games to one. Rose was the only player to get close with a 44 game hitting streak.

.406- Ted Williams is the only player to ever finish the season with a batting average over .400. The final average was .406 and Williams worked for it.
On the final day of the season Williams was at .3996 which would have been rounded up to .400. But he chose to play in not one but two games that day. He got 6 hits out of 8 trips to the batter's box raising his average to .406. No one has hit .400 since. By the way, he lost the AL MVP trophy to Joe DiMaggio that year. 1941 was a great year for baseball.
Sidenote: Bill Terry hit .400 in 1930

Ironman- Cal Ripken, eclipsing Lou Gerihg's streak of consecutive games played at 2,130 in 1995. He pushed it to 2,632 before taking a game off on September 20th, 1998. A great feat considering how often players get injuries today.

Cy Young- Pinnacle. 511 wins. This will never be touched. Closest is Roger Clemens with 341. An amazing feat stretched out over 23 seasons. He also has the record for most complete games at 751.

Stolen!- Rickey Henderson, the man who started third person interviews in MLB (maybe even sports). His record is criminal. 1406 stolen bases. That's the all-time record. Lou Brock is second with 938.

Pete Rose- This man deserves his own Post and one day I'll do it. Til then, gawk at this. 4,256 total hits (Most), 3,562 games played (Most), 14,053 at bats (Most), most 200+ hit seasons (10), and 17 all-star appearances. Ty Cobb is second in hits, the closest active player is Craig Biggio with 2,795. Good Luck.

Ryan Express- King of K's. 5,714 strike outs. Clemens is second with 4,502. There is no one close to this for years to come. Ryan also has the most no-hitters in the history of the game with 7. All aboard.

Awards- Few mentions across the board here. Roger Clemens, 7 Cy Young awards. Bonds, 7 MVP's. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, 6 MVP's.

Jack Nicklaus- 18 Grand slam titles that include. 6 Master's, 5 PGA Championship's, 4 US Open's, and 3 British Open's. Wow.

Tour de Force- As in force to be reckoned with. 7 Tour De France titles. An amazing accomplishment considering what he overcame to continue his sport.

Pass the Rock- John Stockton, poster boy for Men's daisy dukes. No one was better at passing the rock. All-time NBA assist leader at 12,713.

Lew Alcindor- A.K.A the man who's scored the most points (38,387) in NBA history. The most blocked shots, the most seasons played and the most All-Star appearances. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

Wayne Gretzky- Greatest Hockey player ever. Single season records include, most points (215), most goals (92), most assists (163) and a 51 point game scoring streak. Career you ask. All-time leader in goals (894), assists (1963) and points (2857).

Rice- Three records, three feats, one fine receiver. Receptions, 1549. Touchdowns, 207. Receiving Yards, 20,895. And a fine dancer.

Emmitt Smith- 18,355 total rushing yards. Great record. Also has the all-time rushing TD lead with 164. No one is at arm's reach.

Dan the Man- His arm must hurt. Because he threw for 61,361 yards in his career. Also has the TD record with 420 but Farve is 25 behind.

31 lengths- Last leg of the Triple Crown. 1973, Secretariat ran like the wind. Smashing the world record for time at 2min, 24 seconds. He won the Belmont by an astonishing 31 lengths. Record still stands today.

It's hard to pick what feat is the most greatest. It would be a great debate.

But my top 5 would include:
Cy Young's 511, Nolan Ryan's 5,714 K's, Lance's 7 Tour's, Jack's 18 Grand Slam Title's and Hank's 755.

I'm tired. Post your comments on your top 5 or even what you think is the greatest feat of all.

FOUL!

I'm crying foul over ESPN's decision to put more and more information under the exclusive "Insider" section. Now Buster Olney's baseball blog is blocked to the poor people too. This just sucks. I refuse to pay for information on a website. I don't care that's it's only $6.95 a month. That's absurd. Screw you ESPN.

WD-40

Another mixed bag for today:

Mets: Tough loss last night. Heilman had a brain fart, should have let Lo Duca handle the ball. That's all I have to day about that.

Yankees: Randy Johnson is done. Over. A-Rod with a typical performance against Boston last night. 0-3, 2 errors leading to 4 unearned runs.
Congratulations. You are the anti-clutch. Again.

Pierre: Robbing Bonds of 714 was great. Not better than the Hunter catch at the All-Star game but at least this counted. It's apparent though that Bonds is locked in again and that this will happen within the next day or so.

Adelman: I think this has more to do with an empty trophy case than consistency. The Maloof's probably feel like the Kings under-achieved the past 4 years. Especially when Webber was healthy and throwing around triple doubles. But the guy made eight straight appearances in the playoffs and has a 752-481 lifetime record in the NBA. Not bad. He makes some peculiar moves at times but I think he's a good coach. Shouldn't be out of work long.

Spurs/Mavs Devin Harris, HELLO!! Him and Josh Howard caused some serious problems last night in San Antonio. They could not stop their penetration or outside shooting. Good job by AJ making the adjustments after making a full assessment on Game 1. He knows Parker and Ginobili are a step behind those two right now. Speed kills.

Pistons: Still firing on all cylinders, there is nothing Lebron can do to stop this. I'm sure he'll drop 50 at some point during this series to salvage a game but this Detroit team is just rock solid. After a long pre-season they are deeply focused on ring number two. And Mike Brown's decision to intentionally foul Wallace towards the end of the first half is a bit retarded. Rookie mistake for sure. He's in way over his head.

Shaq I'm curious to see how he reacts to the referee's tonight. Or how the referee's react to him is more like it. He has gotten the raw end on alot of calls so far. And him in foul trouble is a disaster for the Heat in this series.
Riley says he's smart enough to figure it out himself. We'll see.

Britney is pregnant again. I'm speechless.

SUNRISE

Did anyone look at the Suns roster lately? They hold a one game lead over the Clippers in the semifinals of the Western Conference playoffs. This is their starting five.

C- Boris Diaw- Really a forward Diaw is a versatile forward who can penetrate and pass like a guard. He also has the ability to shoot and finish drives in traffic.
He averaged 13.3 PPG, 6.9 RPG while shooting 52% from the field. His playing time increased this year once Kurt (Crazy Eye) Thomas went down with an injury to his hoof. He was cast-off to Phoenix from Atlanta who gave up on him a bit too early.

F- Shawn Marion- Don't have to say much here. Him and Nash are the constant. Vicious finisher, good defender, solid rebounder and very active around the rim.

F- James Jones- An Indiana cast-off who starts but only sees about 20 minutes a game. That's due to the emergence of Captain Barbosa, the Brazilian Baller. But still Jones has made some big shots and the Suns trust him in a big spot.

SG- Raja Bell- All of the sudden he's the defensive stopper. Maybe I don't get to see too many Utah games but when he was there I didn't remember him as that type. He also contributes on the offensive end kicking in 14.7 ppg.

PG- Steve Nash- Obviously, the heart and soul. Does he really make mediocre players seen better? Looks that way.

The Bench- Tim Thomas came way of the Knicks, via Chicago deal for Eddy Curry. Skiles couldn't find any minutes for him so they shipped him to a contender and boy has that worked out for Phoenix. He saved their ass in Game 5 and has poured in about 15PPG. Shooting at a 46% clip from beyond the arc to boot.
Leandro Barbosa aka Captain Barbosa has been phenomenal. When Nash rests, the team does not miss a beat. He may parlay his role into a major FA signing some time down the road.

That's it. These Suns never tire. Call them the Strongman Suns. A seven man rotation can't possibly work for too much longer. Or can it? All I have to say is that I am impressed and D'Antoni is a fine coach. They will give fits to either Texas team in the next round. Because they will BEAT LA, Again.

K.I.T

I was wondering when this would happen. I am overcome with joy. Now I would like to see Thundercats and He-Man come to the big screen.

CNN.com ran an article about Knight Rider coming to the big screen. Having a problem linking it so just go there to check it out.

HEILMAN

So much for Point Determined. Bluegrass Cat ruined my weekend. It's ok though. Mets took two out of three against Braves again and despite Zambrano's elbow injury I can't complain much about the 21-9 start. But, I am a finicky fan so I must take Willie Randolph to task for something. Now, like I mentioned earlier Zambrano is out for the year with a torn tendon in the elbow. So that leaves us with two holes in our pitching staff for the foreseeable future. Bannister went down with a hammy pull a week and a half ago, his replacement John Maine went on the DL with a finger sprain of some sort. Hence Lima time on Sunday.

Now what I would do is put Aaron Heilman into the rotation for the remainder of the year. He wants to start again, he's a proven starter and unlike two years ago he's ready. You've may have seen him come out of the pen and toss scoreless innings like an 88' Hershiser. The guy is ready. He's smart, he locates, he hits low 90's, has three pitches, one of them is a great change-up and he studies hard. But no, Willie don't want to mess with the bullpen and it's success. Listen Willie, starters are a bit harder to come by than 7th inning set-up men. It's not like Sanchez isn't doing his thing. Feliciano, Bradford or Oliver can be the 7th inning guy, or even (gulp, dare I say) Julio! Of course using Julio is tight situations may be crazy but use your judgment Willie. Maybe Omar can find you a guy, it's early but maybe there is a veteran out there that can help. Fortunato got clobbered yesterday, Royce Ring ain't ready. Where's Tyler Yates? Humber can't start yet? Soler I haven't even seen yet. It's like his starts a secret NASA mission.

So instead we get Jeremi Gonzalez and Jose Lima has answers for right now. As we head into a tough road trip. Aaron Heilman is going to flip out one day. And he has every right to be.

First Round- Sad to see it go...

As first round action dwindles down this weekend let me say that I am sad to see it go. So far, the NBA playoffs have been incredible. It's to the point where (if your on the East Coast) you can't go to bed until it's over. That's a status the NBA hasn't had for me in awhile. We've had several classic OT games, several classic physical confrontations, several classic fightin' words quotes and several classic phenomenal performances.

Nash was retarded last night, Kobe hit everything he shot, and is Shaq Diesel on a downward spiral or did he just put up a 30pt, 20 reb. performance last night? I mean for Pete's sake Anthony Johnson dropped 40 on the Nets! Tonight we get another dose of Lebron vs. Gilbert battle and a Game 6 for Spurs/Kings. Which if the Spurs lose this one, I can't see them winning the title. I mean the killer instinct has to be there. Championship teams put series away, they don't let them linger. Take note of the Pistons demolishing of the Bucks two nights ago.

I'll raise a beer tonight to the NBA playoffs and I will hope for a equally exciting 2nd round.

What's Going On....The Sequel

Again, few things. Still working on a name for posts like this. Simmons already has the best one (cowbell) and even though he ain't using it anymore I can't take it.
I'm too much of a O.G. Smell me? Good.

- Man, Lebron was great. So was Gilbert. Is the fake drive to the right, step back fadeaway jay (from Lebron) the sweetest move in the league right now or is it me? The Wiz had no business forcing overtime but thank god they did. Anytime I can get more quality basketball I'm game. Haywood has to deny that entry pass. Daily Dime says he was a bit hesitant of the officials giving him a tech if he crossed or stepped on the line. And this is how poor officiating effects games. Even if nothing is called the teams, the players have situations in their heads that dictate how they play. It's disgusting. The officiating has gotten worse and worse. I don't know who or how to solve it but it's got to be addressed in the off-season.

- Diaw really letting loose. Has no problem saying how he feels about the Mamba.
Another case of bad officiating is happening within that series too. Kobe gets way too much respect. If the Lakers don't win tonight, I'm afraid they will lose in Phoenix on Saturday. And then the Hallway series will not happen, and that will make me angry. Because I would love, LOVE to see the Lakers lose to their red-headed stepchild, The Los Angeles Clippers. It would be great. And the Clips have what it takes to beat them.

- If you hate Thunderstix and cowbell noises stay away from the Spurs-Kings game tonight. Arco Arena will be rocking!!!

- Brother Derik is not winning this Saturday's Kentucky Derby. Tomorrow I will post my picks including combos.

- Billy Wagner couldn't locate the fastball last night and cost Pedro the 6-0 start. All is forgiven as Delgado (DEL-GOT IT) goes yard. There are times that I feel like you just can't pitch to this guy. Not on a Prince Albert level but a few notches below. I would say the most feared left handed hitters right now (off the top of my head) is : Ortiz (BOS), Delgado (NYM), Giambi (NYY), Bonds (SF) and Hafner (CLE).

- RIP Earl Woods. From what I read on you the past day or too and from how you've carried yourself and Tiger's legacy the past 10 years, you will be missed.

Teddy KGB

A little TEDDY KBG, to get me through the afternoon.

Teddy : It hurts doesn't it? Your hopes dashed, your dreams down the toilet. And your fate is sitting right besides you.

Teddy : Lays down a monster. The fuck did you lay that down?

Teddy : In my club, I will splash the pot whenever the fuck I please

Teddy : Nyet! Nyet! No More! No! Not tonight! This son of bitch, all night he, "Check. Check. Check." He trap me!

What's Going On.....

Few things going on that I would like to touch on.....This is better than Fluff (which I need a new word for that, Fluff sounds a bit gay).

- First, Bonds 3 behind the Babe is just crazy. However you feel about him you can't deny the importance of this. I believe Bonds only major goal is eclipsing Ruth. I do not think he will reach Hammerin Hank's record. I think it's safe. He can't even walk, watching him play left field is painful.

- The decision to throw John Lackey out of the game last night in Anaheim was the stupidest thing I've seen from these Umpires in a while. Lackey throws a curveball on the inner-half of the plate, as it bends in Kendall leans in to maybe let it graze his giant elbow pad, then looks at Lackey who must have said something along the lines of "If I wanted to hit you I would've hit you" or "Lean over the plate again and see what happens" and charges the mound. Now Lackey, defending himself, wrestles with Kendall as benches clear and gets tossed out of the game. Tossed for what? What should he have done? Run to center field? Sprint to the dugout? Ridiculous. You want a pitcher thrown out of the game, charge the mound for no reason.

- Talk about a physical series. The SUNS-LAKERS series has been like the old Knick-Heat series back in the late nineties. Raja Bell out of nowhere with the clothesline from hell on Kobe and Kwame asserting himself inside with elbows and hip checks. I like it. That's Basketball. The other series have been pretty good too. The Clippers won a series for the first time in 30 years. Shaun Livingston is becoming an excellent point guard and Elton Brand is a true franchise player. Solid team, they can make some serious noise this year. My bad on this, I blew it. Nuggets have no real talent on their roster other than Melo. Once Kmart got the boot it was over. I mean Earl Boykins playing more than 30 minutes in an NBA game is absurd. Spurs not playing well right now but surviving. They must close out at Arco which let me tell you, will be buzzing. Those damn thunderstix are everywhere.
Vince Carter is unstoppable. Whoever hates him, hates him for dogging while in Toronto and dogging every injury the guy has ever had but he is still a top ten player in the league today. Cavs-Wiz continue their slugfest tonight. This series had seven games written all over it. Is it me or is Miami toying with the Bulls like a cat does a dead mouse? All in all, good playoff basketball so far. Looking forward to the semis.

- John Daly you can't be serious. I mean a few hundred thousand, maybe a mil or two.
But 50-60 MILLION!! And now you think you need help?!! WHAT!!!??? I'm thinking, oh about 59 MILLION ago you should have thought about help. Your crazy.

- So far Noah is saying that he will stay in school, he's loving the Rock Star treatment (who wouldn't). I personally don't think he's ready. The weight room is calling his name.

- Texans needed a face for the defense. They got Williams. The debate of whether or not he should have gone over Bush will go on forever. Both players change the gameplan of opposing teams. For the Texans it was, which side do we want opposing teams worrying about? Offense or defense? They chose defense. Let it rest.
By the way, with the free cap money they have. They should sign Ty Law.

Padrino Out.

DRAFTED

I'll start with the local teams first.
Giants :< Overall, solid draft. The first round pick was a bit surprising but they were going with best available. I assume they had Moss rated higher than Chad Jackson. Which I can see for the simple fact that they needed a quick slot WR more than a every down WR. They must believe Toomer is serviceable for another year and/or Tim Carter can stay healthy. Moss in the second round I thought was a steal. He should have gone higher. Guy Whimper was nice in the 4th round, he could have gone in the third round. Gerris Wilkinson has some serious potential and tackles everything that moves. The latter two picks were DB's from solid programs. The last one from Maryland was a flier but worth a shot. Dude ran a 4.42 at the combine. Overall C+.

Jets : Can't fault the Jets here. They built the offensive line to protect who I don't know but it all begins in the trenches. I thought they could have gotten Leinart at 4 then Mangold later then another tackle in the 3rd and 4th. They also needed a LB and got one with Schiegel. I thought he would have been around in round 4 but that's nitpicking. Or Ferguson at four then with 29 I would have liked to see DeAngelo Williams or Maroney. Instead they scooped up Leon Washington from FSU in the 4th round. Not bad, not exactly great but again. Nitpicking. Brad Smith is intriguing. Overall B+.

Everyone else : Thought Arizona had a heck of a draft. Leinart is perfect for them and for Denny Green. The offense is sick. Pope, the TE from Georgia was a nice third round pick. Gabe Watson when focused could be a menace inside. And the guard from USC was super smart.

- Denver and New England get the only A+. Just perfect. Trading up for Jay Cutler was genius. Mike Shanahan knows Plummer can be good in his system for two more years. This is the way to groom QB's. Sit and learn. Practice, scrimmage, pre-season, etc. And if Plummer goes back to being the INT machine he once was then boom, insert breath of fresh air here. Cutler reminds me of Grossman. The arm strength and the guts. Don't forget Denver's deal for Javon Walker, a pro-bowl type receiver. New England got Maroney, a fine RB, Jackson, a fine WR and Dave Thomas, the founder of Wendy's. Joking. Dave Thomas the man with the hands in Texas. Typical NE, grabbing a TE (every year they get one) then also picking a H-Back type player for those 3rd and three's in late December in Garret Mills. Then they shore up the O-line with O'Callaghan from Cal and Stevenson from Notre Dame. Also got a potentially good LB in Mincey from UF and a kicker from Memphis.

- Williams over Bush, like I said before doesn't bother as much as it does other people. De's have more of a long-term impact on a team. Just remember that defense wins championships. DeMeco Ryans was a nice 2nd round pick for Houston too White at 45 to the Titans could be the steal of the draft. Funny Vince Young will be handing off to White after beating him the National Title game 9 months earlier.

- Pittsburgh getting Holmes was a nice pick. Philly did pretty good too. Justice in round two was a steal and the guard from Georgia I liked too. Jason Avant from MU was a good pick in round 4, guy catches just about everything. Indy baffled me with the Addai pick and Buffalo baffled me with three picks. All of their early picks were players that could have gone later.

- Green Bay, Carolina (DeAngelo), Baltimore (PJ Daniels, DT's), Dallas (Carpenter, Fasano), Cleveland, KC (loved the Broyle pick), Jacksonville (Mo Drew) and San Fran (Vernon and Laswon-- solid) did very well.

- Seattle's draft I hated. Just the wrong players for the specific spots. Minnesota I thought didn't really address their needs. No TE, no QB no depth picks.
Miami did ok, Hagan I am not a fan of, seemed like a reach in round 3. San Diego baffled me with the Whitehurst pick. I like him but there was no need from him, especially when you have no WR's. And Cromartie was a risk. Detroit & Chi-town, ehh. And Atlanta, I liked Norwood--they did their homework on him. Cincy not getting a TE was nuts but I liked Frostee late in round three.

- I don't think I left anyone out....
